Poetica Coffee

A Brooklyn coffee company founded on Smith Street in 2020, weeks before the founder's first child was born, in the middle of a pandemic that had closed most of the city. Now seven locations and a truck. Every shop keeps a shelf of banned books, which isn't decorative. We started the same year, under roughly the same conditions. Some of the most interesting work in this industry is at this end of the scale, and we'd rather not lose the ability to do it. ‍
