Before Camarilla had a name, it had a deadline. In 2020, with the industry shut down and the terminal only partly finished, a small team was handed the commercial program: 80,000 square feet, 55+ retail and dining locations, incomplete infrastructure, and an opening date that wasn't moving.
That team became Camarilla.
We led the commercial vision and delivered it while the industry stood still, the Journey of Surprises, built around how passengers actually move through a terminal, and the Digital Journey, which turned static signage into interactive environments. And we brought brands to the table in the worst market aviation has ever had, through an adaptive rent model that gave them a reason to commit when almost nobody was flying.
Less than a year after opening, Skytrax rated the terminal five stars. A month later, passengers voted it the best new terminal in the world.
We didn't win that award. The terminal did. But we know what went into it.
